Michelle’s happy place is at a drafting table, surrounded by markers and trace paper, navigating ways to blend art, ecology, history and culture in harmonious balance with the land. Through an imaginative and detail-oriented lens, she enjoys crafting memorable designs that bring people closer to one another and to the environment. She is committed to designing with inclusivity, equity, and community/environmental stewardship at the forefront of the design process. No matter the scale or budget of a project, she celebrates the opportunity to design with consideration for the end-user
In 2017, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, and minors in Studio Art and Environmental Studies, Michelle moved to Colorado and fell in love with the rugged and wild western landscape. She takes solace and inspiration from hiking, visiting botanical gardens, and exploring Denver’s different neighborhoods. She also enjoys connecting with local artists in the community, displaying her own work at local galleries, art markets and coffee shops.
